Club Membership

The Taylorcraft Flying Club is a not-for-profit Ohio Corporation based at TriCity Airport, near to Sebring in North East Ohio. The club was founded in the 1930's and we are proud to be the oldest, continuously active, flying club in America.

The club is dedicated to providing well-equipped, professionally maintained aircraft to our membership at reasonable cost. Members pay yearly dues and flying time based on engine running time.

Applications for membership of the club are welcomed from existing certified pilots or from those with no previous experience who would like to learn to fly and earn pilot certification. Excellent instruction is available for both new and experienced pilots. To join the club download an Application Form and submit it by mail

Applicants will be contacted by a Board Member and arrangements made to meet at Tri-City to show our aircraft and discuss club membership. Admission to the club is governed by the Officers and Board Directors who meet monthly.

New Student Pilots will be taken under the wing of one of our Certified Flying Instructors; while certified pilots will receive a check out in the club's aircraft and, after obtaining their instructors log book endorsement, will be able to schedule aircraft and go places. Aircraft scheduling is provided by either calling our 24 hour answering service or placing a reservation online via the internet.
